Alamo Heights, Texas - Stunning architecture provides an impressive backdrop for the striking iron lighting and furniture selections for this home. A custom- designed hand-painted dining table and bench beautifully complement the Spanish home style. Indoor and outdoor living areas flow seamlessly, creating an outstanding setting for entertaining. Catering to the owner’s delightful taste, the design choices created a perfect punctuation to an extraordinary house.

Parade House-Uptmore Custom Homes - Residential

San Antonio, Texas - The 2008 San Antonio Parade of Homes was an opportunity for a beautiful collaboration between builder Jack Uptmore and Rullo & Co. Designs. The home captured a charming European elegance, yet was designed to be very “livable” for families. Features such a marble and wood floors, ceilings with knotty Alder trim and unique travertine-lined domes and a gourmet kitchen with hand-rubbed old world finished cabinets and exotic granite counter tops highlight the home. A dry-stacked stone fireplace, hand-hewed mantel, and wood corbels further enhance the warmth and peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the parade’s theme of “Build San Antonio Green” offered the challenge of using sustainable materials in the carpet, wood flooring, and fabrics such as bamboo. A beautifully designed combination of elegance and comfort, the Parade home was an enjoyable and successful project.
